In this class students will practice identifying, writing, and counting the numbers 0-5 using seasonal items such as pumpkins and fall leaves. Students will participate in a learning song "Five Little Pumpkins" to practice counting.
Class experience
This one time class will be teach the numbers 0-5 using seasonal props. The students will be able to identify, write, and count the numbers 0-5. We will be implementing a variety of learning modalities in order to best reach each student including visual learning strategies, kinesthetic learning strategies, and auditory learning strategies. The students will have fun seeing seasonal fall items in order to have fun while learning numbers! We will end class with a fun fall song, "Five Little...
The students will learn how to recognize, write, and count the numbers 0-5. The students will be given time to practice writing numbers as beginners but will then need to continue to practice tracing and writing numbers with a parent for improved skills.
A one page tracing sheet will be provided to print. This is optional and is not completely necessary to the class. Paper and pencils should be provided, however students will have the option to write the numbers in the air if these supplies are not provided.
This class is geared towards small children. We will be moving some throughout class in order to practice counting and to dance along with the song. It would be appropriate for the child to have adequate space to move and adult supervision for safety. Thank you!
