Class Experience
In this class, the students will listen to the fingerplay Five Little Elves written by Amy Brown for the first read-through. The students will also be looking at pictures that match each section of the fingerplay while they listen. The students will make paper elf puppets using a printout that I will provide. Then the students will practice retelling the story using their puppets. All students will be encouraged to participate in the retelling. The students will also practice counting the...
1 file available upon enrollmentThe students will need the elf cutout that I will send to you before class. Please help your child cut out the elves before class. They will need crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the elves. They will need popsicle sticks, straws, or something to put their elves on. They will need tape to keep their elves attached. The elf puppets are in a link in the welcome message.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
