Want your learner to know about some amazing women from history? Here are some of our top favorites from our Influential Women Class. This is a great way to get your learners interested in learning about Women who changed the world. During this course we will learn about Mae C. Jemison, Harriet Tubman, Josephine Baker, Maya Angelou, and Queen Nanny of the Maroons. As a way to make learning fun, we will also play a Kahoot to review what we learned. We use multiple sources to create our classes that have multiple view points. Here is the breakdown of this class 5 minutes Ice Breaker and Introductions 20 minutes lesson 3-5 minute video 10 minutes Kahoot We are very high energy, interactive, and friendly. We use slides, discussions, and videos to enhance the learning experience. A handout will also be included in this class to make learning stick. We use sources from multiple sources and viewpoints.
