Class Experience

😎☀️🏖SUMMER SCHEDULE 🏖☀️😎

Classes will resume as usual through the summer! However, there will be no classes the week of June 20th or August 8th. Parents will not be charged these weeks. Please message me if you have any questions. Thank you! (Updated 5/11/21)

Thank you to all my students who have inspired me to create this “next level” option, designed to go hand-in-hand with my “HIIT Fitness Challenge!” class offered 2x/week on T/TH. ***New students welcome!!!***

In this ongoing (1x/week) class, students will learn how to add weights to their HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. We will focus mainly on the movements that are performed in my ongoing “HIIT Fitness Challenge!” class (enrollment in that class is NOT required, although it’s highly recommended!), along with an introduction to a few basic strength training exercises.

No dumbbells? No problem! Students will work on technique and simply getting used to having a source of resistance. Students may use water bottles, canned goods, or light dumbbells. Current “ongoing” students may use heavier weights at the teacher’s discretion.

Class will begin with a short introduction and warm-up. We will then work through the class movement-by-movement performing each exercise a few times (bodyweight only) before gradually introducing weight and finding the appropriate "load" (working weight based on reps/sets required).

Once comfortable with the movements, we will proceed to the workout. Students will have the opportunity to apply everything they learned! We will end class with a stretch, cool down, and Q & A.

***Please make sure your child is familiar with and capable of performing full range-of-motion squats (hip crease below knees at bottom of squat and chest up), push-ups (down and up with flat back), and sit-ups (any type >10 reps). If you aren’t sure if your child is ready for this class, please feel free to message me.
