-tennis shoes (Cross trainers or volleyball shoes are ideal.) -dumbbells (2 sets would be ideal: 1st set-something that feels light and 2nd set-something that feels a bit heavy. For example: a learner could use 2 three-pound dumbbells and 2 five-pound dumbbells.) Five-pound dumbbells and eight-pound dumbbells might work as well, depending on the learner's fitness level. Another option would be to use soup cans and water jugs. -large enough space to move. I recommend at least an open square (with no furniture) that is 5 feet, 6 inches x 5 feet 6 inches. (1.7 meters x1.7 meters). The ceiling should be high enough for the learner to jump with hands up and not touch his or her hand. -Smooth floor surfaces work well. Carpet is not ideal. -water bottle
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
4 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
-It's important for learners to participate in the warm up and use proper form as instructed. -Injuries could occur if not properly supervised.
