Description
Class Experience
I have been studying dance for 25 years and am a certified personal trainer and dancer teacher. Keeping our bodies agile and moving is so vital for growing youth. As we spend more time sedentary at a computer or couch, we are finding it harder and harder to live an active lifestyle. It's not always easy to get up and workout on your own, and I love the comradery when a group comes together with a similar goal of being active!
Students are encouraged to stretch at least 20 minutes each day.
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners may desire a yoga mat or soft surface as we will be doing a lot of floorwork. For those that have increased flexibility, they may desire to have a yoga block, small stool and/or resistance band for advanced modifications. Additionally, I encourage learners to wear appropriate layers. A light sweater at the beginning of class helps warm the body faster and as the class progress it can easily be removed if they become too hot.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
