In this ongoing fitness and movement class, students will take on new exercises, movement patterns, and so much more as they jump into exciting, intentionally designed workouts that are different every day!

Class experience

Students will build endurance, strength, coordination, flexibility, confidence, and self-esteem
Students will develop a strong understanding of nutrition in the 21st century
Students will practice and develop various sports specific and movement skills 
Hi learners and parents! 
I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology, health and fitness. 
I am a current high school football coach and AP biology and anatomy and physiology teacher. 
Last year, I taught P.E., weightlifting, health, environmental science, biology and physics to middle and high school students. 
I am a former Orangetheory Fitness Coach and certified athletic trainer
I am a former college football player who was named to my university's All Decade 1st Team, 3x all conference player, and 3x academic all west region. 
I hold my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in fitness, life sciences and health.
I received my B.S. in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.

Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through monthly baseline tests.
Grades Offered
Students will need access to a water bottle, an open space (a living room, backyard, etc.) and closed toed shoes. Warm up will be led by me at the beginning of class. Students are encouraged to stretch following the class. 
Students will also need a form of weight that is about 10 pounds (Dumbbell, backpack with 2 textbooks, gallon of water, etc... Something that the student can safely hold in 1 hand). Students will also need a small ball that they can hold in 1 hand (tennis ball, bouncy ball, rubberband ball, wiffle ball, etc.)

*Weights and ball are optional and will not be used in every class. They provide an extra challenge for each student during strength and hand-eye coordination focused workouts*

Parents should supervise their child to ensure that they are in a safe area and are performing the activities/movements within the workout correctly.
