In this class students will have fun exercising while we walk one mile and have fun! In this upbeat class we will learn some basic moves, keep our heart rate up, and do it all in a small space!
Class experience
As a piano teacher I am always encouraging my piano students to exercise regularly! I think walking is one of the best ways we can exercise. Join me for a happy and fun walk in your home! We will walk, learn some basic steps, complete a warm up and cool down, and keep our heart rate up for approximately 1 mile. This is a quiet work out so will be suitable for apartment living too. Learners will join in the fun of walking! Learners will also participate in a gentle warm up and cool down at the beginning and ending of our session. We will learn the importance of exercise and keeping our bodies healthy.
Learner will need a safe and comfortable place to do their exercising and access to a water bottle. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. A yoga mat is recommended but optional.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents need to ensure the learner has a comfortable and safe area for exercise, access to a water bottle, and appropriate clothing and footwear.
