Welcome to my classroom! In this one time class students will create, draw, and color their own fish tank perfect for the summer! Students will first outline their fish tank drawing and then add detail such as fish in the bowl, plants, gravel/rocks, etc. After they outline their drawing and add detail they will then have the opportunity to color the drawing using any colors they would like! Towards the end of class when they finish coloring their fish tank they will also have the opportunity to add any finishing touches such as glitter paint, beads, etc. There also will be plenty of opportunities to discuss their drawings throughout class!

Materials: -White Paper -Black Sharpie and colored sharpies to outline -Colored pencils and markers -Any other materials you would like to use to add detail (Glitter, paint, beads, etc.)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Tanya Bird but you can call me Mrs. Bird or even Ms. Tanya! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology that I graduated with in 2013. I also have my certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 5 years now! I have experience working with students from Preschool level to age 18 and I also have many years of experiences working with students with Autism and other developmental disabilities from ages 5-22! I plan to teach many different things such as colors, shapes, Fine and Gross motor skills, Visual recipes, ADLS (Hygiene and Chore Routines), learning about animals, community helpers and survival signs, fun art projects, and much more!!! I believe in teaching that is hands on and also fun for the learner! As for something fun about myself, I absolutely love animals and pets!
