Join our engaging Fish in a Tree class for inspiring discussions, activities, and writing exercises. Loved by students and teachers alike, this affirming class covers plot analysis, character traits, genre assessment, and more. PLEASE NOTE: Learners will need to do reading outside of class time. The book will be divided into manageable chunks (see below) and audio books are a welcome tool, if needed. Hello!
I'm excited to teach English, Language Arts, and Social Studies through Outschool. I've been teaching in one form or another for over twenty years. I have taught all ages from early childhood to adult in public, private, and higher education school settings. I have a Master's degree in English and another in Montessori education. I have certifications in Montessori education (6-9 and 12-18) and Teaching English as a Second Language.
I believe in getting to know the student as a whole person, and meeting them where they are for the greatest learning success. I strive for an engaging and inspiring learning experience.
