Class Experience

Students will discover the ancient world of the Ordovician Period with a special focus on the beginnings of fish. Students, through an in-class discussion and Powerpoint presentation, will learn how fish changed from the Cambrian Period to the Ordovician Period. It is strongly suggested that you take the previous class "The Beginning of Fish" before enrolling in this class.

Learning Goals

Students will learn about the different flora and fauna located in the oceans and shallow seas of the Ordovician Period with a special focus on fish. This will help the student have a better understanding of the evolutionary journey of fish.
