I have a bachelors in Applied Math and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a Math Emphasis. I am currently a certified high school Math teacher. I've taught various Math classes for 14 years, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Statistics.
Homework will be assigned to the students, but is optional. I will post a homework key each week for students that wish to work on their own and check their work. I am happy to collect homework and grade it for students if they want me to as well.
Students will need a notebook to take notes in, a graphing or scientific calculator(TI 84 is reccomended), pencils, erasers, and other writing utensils, and the ability to print worksheets/homework. Other sites such as desmos and quizzizz may be used.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student progress will be monitored through the classroom and guided practice. I will give the students a final assessment at the end of the course. I am happy to provide a final grade if needed.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
