US Grade 1 - 2

In this class, students will learn the strategies to help them solve word problems. The class will be fun and interactive. I will use slides as well as props to demonstrate the word problems. The students will learn to read the word problem, look for key words, and comprehend the word problem itself. Then they will learn strategies such as drawing a picture to use as a visual, writing number sentences, and using a number line in order to solve word problems. I look forward to helping your...
