Hello and welcome our reading! Guided reading is an essential part of any young reader's education. This is a time where they can challenge themselves to learn and grow! The book we will read in class range from Level G-L. Your learner should be at least a level G, but anywhere between the two levels is fine! If your learner falls outside this range, I have a class at a higher and lower level that may better meet your needs. There is no prior reading that needs to happen before class...
As a first grade teacher I have taught guided reading every day for years. I love helping young learners build a foundation to become lifelong readers!
Students will need either pencil and paper or a whiteboard and marker to write their responses on.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
