Beginner Level

If your student loves Pokemon, but does not love to write then this class may just help them. In this class, the teacher explains the parts of a paragraph. The the teacher will model how to brainstorm to gather ideas to form a paragraph. Lastly, the teacher will model how to write the paragraph to include the parts of a paragraph. This is a guided writing class, so the student can write along with the teacher. 

This is a self-paced one-time class so you and your learner can experience my teaching style to see if I am a good fit as a tutor for your student's needs. You can pause the video as I teach the lesson to allow for extra time. 

The student will hear me model my thinking as I brainstorm ideas using a popular Pokemon Character. I will then create a paragraph using the details from the brainstorming part to show how to organize ideas and create a paragraph. 

This class is beginner-friendly and was created with the intention of helping those young struggling writers while they build their confidence and get to write about a fun character. 

Included is a anchor chart for guidance as we write, brainstorming map, and themed, lined writing paper.

 This lesson is about teaching the student the parts of a paragraph and how to brainstorm to write a paragraph with a given topic. The teacher will model how to write a paragraph throughout the lesson to build confidence for the learner.

This class, like all my classes, are designed to support any unique or special learning needs. As a teacher, I model the learning material the whole way through.

Supply List

A theme, lined writing paper will be provided in the class for the learner to use for fun engagement.
