Class experience
US Grade 1

For my standards based approach, I will be supporting the Next Generation and Florida Standards for First Grade. By the end of this course, students will be working towards mastery and independence on the skills linked to standards listed for each week.
I’m a compassionate and charismatic teacher who loves to teach! I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade students for the last 12 years. In that time, I have been a general education teacher in the public schools setting for 8 years and specialized as a reading coach to my school for an additional two years. I have been teaching online since February 2020. I’m certified to teach Elementary education from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I absolutely love teaching First Grade. I taught First Grade for 8 years and it is one of my favorite grades to teach. One of the largest academic transformations occurs in First Grade. I have taught these lessons in the public school setting with many students who have mastered the content and for three years on Outschool. I’m looking forward to sharing this fun class with your wonderful student!
