First Grade Sight Words (Multisensory Approach)
In this class, students will learn sight words from the first grade Dolch sight word list. Instead of rote memorization, different multisensory methods will be used to help students decode and learn sight words.

Class Experience
Students will learn sight words from the Dolch First Grade Sight Word list, which can be found at https://sightwords.com/pdfs/word_lists/dolch_1st.pdf
-sound box worksheets will be posted on the classroom page, to be printed before class -play-doh -blank paper & pencil -crayons/markers -a set of letters ( can be magnetic letters, letters from an alphabet puzzle, etc)
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
