First Grade Rhyme Time
In this 2 day class, students will meet for 30 minutes to develop and build their rhyming skills.

What will be taught: Rhyming Skills Class Structure: -I will show students pictures that rhyme and they will repeat after me. -They will draw and color pictures of words that rhyme. -The will distinguish rhyming words with pictures and choice the words that match with a rhyme. -They will use fine motor skills to draw a line to the rhyming words that match, they will color and bubble in correct answers -Fill in the blank with a word bank and circle the correct answer (with help by me) Teaching Style: Student-Teacher Style and I Do, We Do, You Do. I will use worksheets that students will print from home, flash cards, and a white board. If you don’t have access to a printer, that’s ok, I will hold up the worksheet so the student can still interact with me.

I am also currently homeschooling my daughters (age 6 and 15) while teaching academics online through Zoom and Google Meet. I have a Bachelors in Education with a concentration in Physical Education and a Masters in Sport Management; both my degrees are from The University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!
