This 28-week course utilizes the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to teach first-grade reading. The focus of this course is to equip learners with the foundational reading skills they need to succeed academically. The structure of the class includes daily review, introduction of new concepts, and practice through literature, spelling, and hands-on activities.

I teach using Google Slides that incorporate interactive activities, allowing learners to see, hear, and practice new concepts. Learners will interact with me and other students through engaging lessons that include modeling concepts, practicing through games, watching video clips, and reading literature.
