In this week-long camp, learners will review material from Kindergarten and prepare for life as an awesome first grader! Every class will review both reading and math concepts. The first 20 minutes is our reading time. We practice reading with our sight words and CVC words (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant). Then, we get moving with a silly camp song, courtesy of Moose Fabio and the folks at MooseTube. The last 20 minutes is our math time. We practice numbers 1-50 while practicing Base 10 charts, skip counting, addition, subtraction, and greater than / less than.
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will use resources from from Anne Gardner's reading resources. Used with permission. Songs from our camp can be found on GoNoodle or YouTube.
