US Grade 1
Each class we will focus on one main concept from first grade skill sets, so students may join at any time! Students will be given direct instruction of the concept of focus. They will then be given example problems to work on in whole group, following the teacher’s example and directions. This time will allow for open discussion and questions to be asked in order to gain a deeper understanding. Finally, students will be given their own problem(s) to work on during class time with follow up worksheets and/or website suggestions given for independent practice between classes!
