Description

Class Experience

This 1 week camp style course is based off my popular "First Grade Math Meeting."
We will meet 5 days/week to practice various math skills. 

Class format:

1. The first part of the class will be repetitive in order to build number sense and routine. It may include calendar, number of the day, story problems, counting on a hundred’s chart, and mental math.

2. We will then focus on a particular math skill for the day. Math skills we will work on are addition, subtraction, story problems,...

Printout will be posted to the classroom before each class. Some sessions may require additional supplies such as common household objects, crayons, pencils, or scissors.

**For sessions that require scissors, please supervise and assist if necessary.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
