Lets conquer those first grade math skills. This class is for average first graders or advanced kindergarteners. We will have loads of fun in this math class learning math skills that are needed to be successful in first grade. We will learn, sorting, graphing, counting, numbers quantities to 50, 2D/3D shapes, graphing, patterns, measuring, addition and subtraction with and without regrouping, word problems, and so much more. This class is taught in English.
The student's will learn basic math skills such as counting to 500, matching quantities, patterns measuring length, ordering items according to length and weight, adding numbers to 100, 2D/3D shapes, word problems, and sorting/graphing.
Dry erase board and marker Extra paper Crayons Small manipulatives or counters String for measuring A box to keep supplies in close to the computer.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
