This is a self-paced (flex) class. There will be NO live meetings. This class is listed in 2 parts. Each part stands alone and can be taken in any order. Each week in this flex class, Miss Jen will use fun and engaging slides and activities to help students learn grammar skills necessary for reading and writing. Each class will focus on one aspect of grammar to reach mastery by the end of class. Each week will consist of a mini-lesson video with engaging slides (about 5-8 minutes in length), an interactive game video (about 5 minutes in length), a few Nearpod activities to practice the grammar skill, and a couple hands-on activities to practice using the skill. Activities may include: matching, drawing, writing sentences, and more. Students can complete this course at their own pace. Miss Jen will give feedback if completed worksheets or activities are posted. This class is appropriate for all learners including ESL, native speakers, and neurodivergent learners.
