This is a self-paced (flex) class. There will be NO live meetings. This class is listed in 2 parts. Each part stands alone and can be taken in any order. Each week in this flex class, Miss Jen will use fun and engaging slides and activities to help students learn grammar skills necessary for reading and writing. Week 1Lesson 1Statements & QuestionsStudents will learn to identify and write statements, questions, and their ending marks.Week 2Lesson 2Exclamations & CommandsStudents will learn to identify and write exclamations, commands, and their ending marks.Week 3Lesson 3Question WordsStudents will learn how to use question words like who, what, when, where, and why.Week 4Lesson 4Naming & Action PartsStudents will learn to identify and write naming and action parts of a sentence.Week 5Lesson 5Complete SentencesStudents will learn how to write complete sentences.Week 6Lesson 6Select NounsStudents will learn how to identify nouns and use them in sentences.Week 7Lesson 7Common Vs. Materials depend on the week: Pencil Paper Scissors Glue Stick Printable worksheets and activities posted in the classroom (*printable worksheets can be completed on paper or electronically*)
