Students will learn to identify and write naming and action parts of a sentence.

Complete Sentences
Students will learn how to write complete sentences.

Select Nouns
Students will learn how to identify nouns and use them in sentences.

Common Vs. Proper Nouns
Students will learn to differentiate between common and proper nouns and capitalize properly.

Plural Nouns
Students will learn how to identify and write plural nouns correctly.

Possessive Nouns
Students will learn how to turn nouns into possessive nouns to show ownership with an apostrophe.

Contractions
Students will learn how to write a contraction correctly by using an apostrophe and omitting the correct letters.

Students will learn how to use conjunctions to connect words.

Capitalization
Students will learn the basic capitalization rules for sentences, the word "I," and names.
Students will practice grammar and sentence structure using interactive activities.

Homework Offered
Students will receive 2 printable worksheets and activities for extra practice of the weekly topic.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
