Class Experience

During this ongoing class, First Grade students (ages 5-7) will have fun practicing math skills, literacy skills, and social skills. We will learn math skills such as counting to 100, using ten frames, using a 100s chart, ordinal positions, subitizing, addition and subtraction, fact families, time, comparing sets of numbers using symbols, and more. Literacy skills include word families, phonemic awareness and phonics skills, rhyming words, spelling, punctuation, nouns, verbs, plurals, oral...

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
