This is a fun one-time class where we will read First Day Jitters. First Day Jitters is a fun story with a surprise ending. School may be different for students this year so this is a chance for students to see that other students may be nervous as well. We will follow the interactive read-aloud with a brief discussion about what students may be nervous about or looking forward to in the upcoming year. Students will participate in an interactive read-aloud where they learn to make predictions about the story, ask and answer questions all while practicing taking turns in a group activity.
1 file available upon enrollmentA print out will be provided when students sign up for class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
