In this ongoing class we will meet once a week to read the first chapter of a middle-grade novel. The students will have the opportunity to record their observations, opinions, and a summary of the chapter book while the teacher is reading. After reading, the class will discuss various aspects of the reading to include what they liked or disliked of the reading.
