Class Experience
Join me in this first and second grade science adventure! This is semester two of the full curricula. Students do not need to take semester one prior to this class. They can take either semester first as we do review and learn new things! Every lesson is interactive and includes a hands-on activity or experiment to help students visualize the lesson. This is a COMPLETE list for the class. I will post a reminder each week prior to class. worksheet provided black, gray, white crayons, spray bottle filled with water feathers balloon pencil bird seed small cup funnel cupcake liners 3-4 different colored kool-aid water Q-tips leaves sticks/small branches rocks mud or Play Dough bark (you can use popsicle sticks instead, if you can't get some bark) aluminum tray water habitat worksheet with animals provided 4 cups/glass/jars full of water (warm water is best) salt baking soda sugar grapes, raw eggs, OR small plastic jewels the kind that go in aquariums would work spoon towel bowls of different sizes filled with water and frozen food coloring cup of water and spoon, if you'd like to mix different colors together to create a new color coarse salt (Kosher salt) table salt several pieces of construction paper crayons tape aluminum foil saran wrap/plastic wrap tissues napkins plastic baggie cotton balls
