Class Experience

Learners will practice taking turns, speaking on a particular topic, and exercise finger muscles. I will assist the learners in complementing other's creations.
As a former pre-school and kindergarten teacher, I know how important play is to learning. For children, play is their work! Learners will enjoy creating and sharing in a fun and supportive environment!

Students will need: * playdough I prefer to use home made for myself because it usually lasts much longer. I have attached a recipe if you would like to try it. *tray (I use plastic trays or platters from the dollar store to contain the playdough crumbs.) *pipe cleaners, cookie cutters, straws cut to various lengths, etc. (These items are optional.) Upon completion of the class, I will provide a play-doh name mat for each learner. It will be uploaded in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may need to assist in setting up a space for their learner. Please check the lighting before class, as bright light is needed to see the learners' sculptures.
