Fine Artist: Small&Private/Realistic Drawing, Watercolor, Acrylic & Mixed Medium
In this small private fine art group, students will create realistic art while developing their art skills, imagination and confidence. We will sketch, draw, & paint with a variety of art mediums. They will experience art like never before!

Do you want to learn how to create your very own unique artwork? Do you have some art supplies that you are just itching to use?! Do you want to learn the basics, so you can actually put your own fun ideas into the paper in a realistic way? In these ongoing lessons, Students will learn drawing and painting fundamentals to start drawing and painting with confidence. They will learn the elements of design, explore with form and realism, use their imagination to create, speak about their artwork to tell their stories, and use a variety of materials with confidence. Every project, I will teach a different theme that are related to nature, animals and exciting things children like to imagine. They will learn: * ‘Powerful words,’ (which are Fine art terms that are more advanced like the following: composition, contrast, form...) * Realistic art * Color theory * Different techniques with a variety of materials * Composition, form and space * Fine art vocabulary * To talk about their process * Components and function of design * To care for their own art supplies * To explore their thoughts, feelings and imagination * To create artworks that are original and truly their own. Children will gain: * Confidence * Creative Independence * A sense of accomplishment * Empowerment * Responsibility for their own belongings * Storytelling skills * New Friends * Skills to create realistic Art * Space and time to practice their skills and creativity * Great feedback from fellow artists and teacher A typical class session looks like: * Ice breakers * Imagination exercise * Content and observation exercises * Demonstration (s) * Doing it together * Letting student create on his or her own * Showing and reflection/discussion of artwork Bonuses: *All week, extra private feedback for each student and parent after class. *Extra tips and tricks for practice after class. In the last day of class, students will be encouraged to create their own artwork using the techniques and inspirations they have learned in class. This is a perfect way to show what they have learned and feel confident that they have master that specific combination of skills and knowledge in Fine Arts. Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of color mixing, space, form, composition, art vocabulary, observational drawing, artistic problem solving, functionality of texture and different materials, different techniques in watercolor, acrylic, India ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel, pencil, printmaking, collage and the list goes on. They will also gain larger awareness of their surrounding because of their increase ability to see things as they are. They will have a supportive and nurturing space to practice their creativity and storytelling abilities. Emotionally, they will gain confidence and more understanding of their own unique expression in the world.

Supply List
Any kind of the following: Acrylic paint, Watercolor pan Bristol Vellum paper and watercolor paper (8 1/2" x 11" or bigger.) Pencil, eraser and brushes. You can purchase all of that in any craft store like Michaels, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Joann fabric and crafts, amazon and/or dickblick.com.
