Students will broaden their knowledge of Greco-Roman mythology and gain appreciation for its roots in the classical world as well as its ongoing influences on modern culture.
My academic experience in Greco-Roman culture and language began with high school classes in Latin and Ancient Greek and motivated me to earn a college degree in Philosophy and Classical Studies. I have been teaching Ancient Greek and Roman language and history to middle school students for over a decade.
Learners will need only their preferred materials for writing/drawing (paper and pen/pencil/markers).

Because Greek mythology contains violence and mature themes, material presented in class is prescreened and interpreted in a family-friendly manner, with inappropriate elements de-emphasized or omitted. The Google slideshow was created by me specifically for this age range, and is presented only via screen-share, as are all images and clips of Greco-Roman deities. No learner account is required, as it is only accessed by the educator for use in presenting the lineup of subjects to the learners.
