42 live meetings
38 hrs 30 mins in-class hours
Homework
1-2 hours per week. Students will be assigned a page in the suggested textbook or given a worksheet provided by the teacher. Homework should not take longer than 30 minutes a week.
Assessment
Students will be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the chapter to help parents determine learning outcomes. These evaluations are done via Google Forms and, if grades are desired, uploaded to Google Classroom.

Students always want to know "When will we ever use this!"  Financial Math is a great way to help students make connections from mathematics to the real world.  

This class is perfect for high schoolers or mature middle schoolers, whether homeschool, public school, or private school, looking for a full math course.

In this 21-week course (with two sessions per week), students will learn more complex mathematical topics that apply to everyday life such as managing checking and savings accounts, understanding credit cards and loans, owning a home, investing, and paying taxes.

Students will engage weekly in interactive learning and be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the chapter to help parents determine learning outcomes.  These evaluations are done via Google Forms and if grades are desired, uploaded to Google Classroom.
