Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
- Basic Entrepreneurship - Introduction to Accounting - Sales - Marketing - Networking - Business Proposal Writing - Project Management - Giving/Receiving Feedback - Collecting Data - Self Confidence - Financial Literacy
Teacher Kelly is a small business owner with 6 years of entrepreneurial experience. She's a go-getter and fully believes that your children can accomplish their goals (even if that means readjusting their goals a little bit)
Students may have goals to complete between each class: Week 1 - Business Proposal & Marketing Week 2 - Launching their Business Week 3 - Evaluating & Improving their Business Week 4 - Presentions
It is the students' decision to plan out their business and provide the needed resources for their business' success (for example, if they plan to have a bake sale, they need to prepare cookies, a table, etc... if they want to have a lawn mowing business, they may want to have a lawnmower or ensure their clients have one.... if they want to have a tutoring business, they need to sort out those logistics... etc) Nothing is REQUIRED necessarily, however, students need to work within their means.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Households are encouraged to support their students' ideas. Let them try out their own ideas, learn from their mistakes, and improve from what they've learned.
Kelly has full permission from Walt The Vault to use their materials and work together. Also, I use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGN1ZEABk_Y&ab_channel=TheStoryofStuffProject
