I am a certified K-12 Special Education and Social Studies Educator. I have experience teaching Financial Literacy in the Special Education & General Education setting both in-person and virtually for high school students.
Homework may be assigned if materials done in class are not completed. Students are expected to complete the homework for the following class meeting. The assignment shall not exceed more than 20 minutes. Students will not be expected to read materials independently outside of class.
Students may wish to keep a notebook to take any notes as well as access to some type of writing material.
The learner is assessed through informal assessments such as in-class discussions, discussion responses via classroom chat and finished assignments.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class uses the NGPF curriculum materials in order to inform the course content. Students are not required to have an account to access this resource.
