Financial Literacy for Kids: Learn the Parts of a Check and How to Write a Check
Students will learn the parts of a check, why we write checks, and how to successfully write one. Using a hands on approach, each student will write their own check. This class will teach writing, banking, math skills and more.

In this one time class, students will learn about the parts of a check and the importance of filling out a check correctly. We will go step by step through the check writing process and each student will successfully write a check to show to their family members. I will provide the students with a printable blank check to print out prior to class and we will also use an online check as an example as well. My teaching style is fun, energetic and I like my students to lead the discussions and share with each other. We will use the online tool as well as a check printable to practice what we learned. I hope to see you soon!
