Hello! Welcome to fundamentals of accounting and bookkeeping. In this class we will discuss the most important aspect of accounting - financial accounting. That is, how financial information is recorded. We will cover topics such as the accounting of revenue, costs, and discuss key accounting concepts such as accruals. The concepts taught in this class are suitable for all accounting jurisdictions. Students are encouraged to ask questions during class to aid their understanding of the topic. No prior knowledge in accounting is required for this class. This course will be particularly suitable for those who wish to start their own business or take up a career in accounting, business, or finance.
