In this class, we will build from the financial adulting toolkit class to discuss why, how and types of budgeting. Student will learn budgeting tools to get started on building their own budget. Participants will learn the importance of and how to set budget targets. We will discuss money saving ideas. We will also discuss next steps after a budget is set. This class will use Nearpod (an award winning student engagement platform) as the teaching platform, and include practical discussions,...
Attendees will walk out with a list of budgeting to-dos that will give their high school graduation checklist a head start.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
