Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
- Learners will compile a useful list of equipment need to recorded high-quality, well-lit footage of their work.
- Learners will get the chance to ask any questions they may have regarding the acting to camera process.
- Learners will witness first-hand how to set up the basics of a recording space.
A 2010 graduate of the internationally-acclaimed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, my 10+ years in the acting industry, here in the U.S. and in my native United Kingdom, have seen me appear on world-renowned stages such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre as well as Emmy and Oscar-nominated Television and film projects. What I teach in my class is what I practice in my work and so learners can expect to learn tools being used in the profession today!
Ideally, Learners should have access to hardwired internet or a stable WiFi connection when attending class. Make sure you are situated at a table or desk so that we can easily see your face when reading/performing your speeches - the less you have to hold or interact with the device you are attending class on, the better! Earbuds or Headphones with a mic are recommended - we want to be able to hear all the wonderful contributions to class on the first go!
Informal, verbal feedback will be given to students during class sessions. Be open to receiving feedback from your classmates too! I try to foster a supportive, non-judgmental classroom environment so constructive ideas from everyone are welcome.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
