Class Experience
Students will study filmmakers to increase their knowledge of films.
Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts: Creative Writing Certificates from Institute of Children's Literature Certificates from Institute for Writers Writing young adult fantasy and space opera under the pen name Angelia Almos.
Student must watch the movie before class.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need to rent and/or stream movies before the class. All movies should be available to rent on Amazon Prime, Vudu, and/or iTunes, and may be available on membership sites like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Showtime, HBO, Disney+, etc.
No grades.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Some movies will be PG-13 or R rated. Movies may contain foul language, cinematic violence, adult themes, and nudity. All ratings are listed in the description.
We will use Julie Faulkner's Movie Analysis Worksheets to help organize our thoughts and understanding.
