Film making is a lifelong learning process! Each week we'll discuss a different part of how to make movies and TV shows, including script writing, planning, equipment, directing, filming, editing, distribution, and more.

Class Experience

Ever wonder how a movie is made? Or maybe your learner has filmed a few shorts and wants to up their game to the next level? This ongoing class covers filmmaking at every budget and every skill level, from a zero-budget first effort to what actually happens on a $3 million dollar Hollywood network TV show behind the scenes. 

Each week students will be introduced to a new aspect of how to make a show, including:

I have directed television shows ("Manos: The Debbie Chronicles," "Vintage America with Ginger" and "Hidden Gems") and voiceover actors for audio dramas ("Triune"). As the showrunner for these projects, I am responsible for every detail from pre-production through post-production. I have also been a production manager and production coordinator and worked closely with directors on a number of film and television sets of all budgets and sizes.
