Class Experience

Understand and recognize what a tagline, logline, and short summary are and what you would use them for. Learn how to write a tagline, logline, and short summary. 
Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting

Writing young adult fantasy and space opera under the pen name Angelia Almos. 
The student will work on their own tagline, logline, and short summary to share in class on the second day. 
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
On day one, we will watch a collection of movie clips that show how the tagline relates to the movie. Some of these clips might have graphic (violent/sexual) clips, if you object to your teen watching clips from any of these movies, please let me know and I will fast forward: I Am Legend, Shaun of the Dead, Cocktail, Quiz Show, Jaws 2, Ghostbusters, The Prestige, Superman, Alien, The Thing.
