Use this short class as a trial, then we can schedule an ongoing class to fit your schedule! We will use games and fun to help your child work on a specific skill you request in the areas of literacy skills, reading, writing, penmanship, or math. Tutoring is for any student working on Pre-K through 2nd-grade skills.

Description

Class Experience

How does your child measure up with other students their age? Are they ready for the next grade? Is there a skill that is challenging or frustrating for them? 

In this 3 day class, you will give me a specific area to work on, or I can assess with common assessment tools to find areas of weakness. I will gently and patiently work with your child to become confident in this skill with games and challenges. Working one on one will allow me to cater to your child’s learning style and strengths....

I may occasionally ask that you print off a paper, but most of the time a small whiteboard/ marker or pencil/ paper will be all that you need.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Pre and post assessments will be given to discover ability and improvements. However the assessments will be disguised as a fun game or challenge.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
