Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. By the end of the class they will be able to switch a fraction into a decimal and also into a percent. Students will learn strategies to simplify fractions so they are not intimidating.
I LOVE MATH! I graduated as a major in Mathematics, have been a Math tutor for over 15 years. I have taught math in the public schools in New Jersey. I help students to gain confidence in Math and to learn to like it instead of being scared of the subject
Students will have 10 Questions of homework and a review game!
Students will only need paper and pencil. No calculators!!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners are assessed with homework each class and a final assessment on the last day of class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
