In this 6-week course, students will build their English Language Art skills by studying figurative language through literature, writing, games, and art.

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of some types of figurative language including: metaphor, hyperbole, simile, onomatopoeia, personification, and idiom.
Homework will only consist of finishing up any assignments that they did not finish in class. They can submit it within the week for feedback.

Learner progress is assessed by the final activity that accompanies the day's lesson.  
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
