Class Experience
This is not intended to teach a full grade level for the first time; this is a review course to enhance the student’s math skills through playing games. We will have a new specific grade-level topic each week and I will post the topic the week before, along with free resources and notes so that the students can prepare for the games. The students can also ask questions on the classroom wall to get help with the topics. We will spend the first five minutes of class reviewing the topic before...
This class will prepare students for 6th grade by reviewing and practicing 5th grade concepts through games.
Scratch paper and a second device (for Kahoots) might be helpful, but are not required.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
