🌟 Welcome!🌟

In this fun and interactive English Language Arts class, students will work on fifth-grade writing, reading, and grammar skills through creative and engaging activities. Each week will focus on a different aspect of fifth-grade English Language Arts.

🔹 Twice Weekly Live Meetings: 🗓️ We will meet twice a week to learn together.

🔹 Optional Homework: 📚 Students will be given optional homework each week. This homework will build on the class content and reinforce our learning.

Writing Weeks: 📝 Students will receive comprehensive instructions along with creative writing projects to spark imagination and hone their writing skills.

Reading Weeks: 📖 Our reading classes will focus on reading, analyzing texts, and participating in discussions, with a reduced emphasis on writing during these weeks.

This comprehensive class focuses on all aspects of English Language Arts, including reading, grammar, and writing. Our sessions often involve engaging discussions, group activities, brainstorming sessions, and the opportunity to express opinions. 💡🤝

We (usually) have a couple of minutes of optional off-topic sharing at the end of each class.  This allows students to connect with each other and share things that are going on in their lives outside the classroom. 🎉

🌟This is an inclusive class and all learners are welcome.  

📖The reading level for this class is Reading A to Z Level X-Z or 831-980L.  If you are not sure if this is a good fit for your learner, please reach out!

This relaxed English Language Arts class will go through the fifth-grade curriculum in a creative and engaging way.  We can't wait to meet your learner in the classroom!  📚🚀
