Class Experience
In this one time class, the students will learn colors in Spanish. No prior exposure to Spanish is needed. Each student will be given several opportunities to hear and say the specific vocabulary. They will also get to interact with each other and practice what they learn. Visual aids will be used as well as songs and games. We will also complete a coloring activity together. There is no assigned homework but it is beneficial to continue practicing what your student has learned.
Handouts will need to be printed by the parent prior to the beginning of class. The handouts are available in the classroom 1-3 days before our class meeting. Each student will need a blank piece of colored paper such as construction paper or cardstock paper (your choice). White paper can be substituted. Each student will need their own set of crayons, markers, or colored pencils, as well as scissors and glue.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
