In this one-time class, students will learn Spanish vocabulary and phrases related to the beach.
Class experience
In this one-time Spanish class, students will learn fun words and phrases related to the beach. No prior exposure to Spanish is required. We will discuss all the things you take with you on a trip to the beach, and we will talk about the various sea creatures you might see at the beach. We will also play a fun game. Visual props will be used as well as PowerPoint presentations. We will complete a beach activity together. Grab your sunglasses and beach hat for an imaginary trip to the beach...
Handouts will be available prior to the session and will need to be printed out by the parent. Each child should have their own set of crayons, markers, or colored pencils, as well as scissors and glue. Your child is encouraged to bring any beach related objects they might have at home such as sunglasses, shells, a float, a pail and shovel, etc. to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
