Class Experience

In this 3-Day Camp, students will join Ms. Love "LIVE" on a virtual field trip to the police station! They will be able to ask the police officer questions & explore his car. Students will learn the history of police officers and how important they are to our communities.

Day 1 we will explore the important world of police officers. Students will learn about law enforcement and how technological advancements have enhanced the way they help our communities. They will have the opportunity to participate in fun trivia, group chats, activities, and games.

Day 2 is our FIELD TRIP DAY! Students will join Ms. Love "LIVE" as she visits the local police station. Students will have the opportunity to ask the police officer questions and we will explore the inside of a police car. (This day could run over 30 minutes, but it will be worth it to fully enjoy the virtual "LIVE" field trip).

Day 3 is our day of gratitude & appreciation. We will explore all the good that law enforcement does for our communities and work together on a creative art project that students can keep or they can send the art project to their local law enforcement team as a token of their gratitude & appreciation.

BONUS: I will include an activity book to enhance the student's educational experience and continue their learning outside of the 3-Day camp.

SUPPLIES: I will list the supplies needed for the creative art project in the classroom. It will mainly be common school and art items such as paper, crayons, markers, scissors, tape, glue, tissue paper, paper plates, etc.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, superstar friends! My name is Ms. Laura Love and I am so excited to be teaching at Outschool. I have a passion for kids and am a mommy to 3 little loves who are currently 7, 5, and 2 years old. I live in central Minnesota out in the country and fully enjoy the peace and quiet of country living.

My degree is in Speech, Language, and Hearing Pathology and I have currently been substitute teaching at the local elementary schools as it's a great flexible way for me to work around my kid's schedules.

We enjoy animals at our farmhouse. We have a couple of chickens and enjoy our country living life. We are getting a new Goldendoodle puppy in May so we are all excited about our new puppy friend that will be arriving this Spring!

I am personally passionate about STARS of all kinds. I am eager to share my love of stars and show learners how they were all born to be a STAR in their own special way!

Please send me a message with any questions. I am eager to see you in one of my upcoming classes!
